At the first time you connect to Flyff,you will start your journey as a Level 1 Vagrant.Players are usually placed next to a luxurious fountain in the area called Northern Flarine.Next you will see Pang,friendly helper of Madrigal.then take his New Pang Tutorial quest.once you have completed it, you will gain a unique starter quest,Welcome to Madriga.
With each level up, you will gain certain Stat and Skill points.you will receive 2 Stat points per level from level 1 to 119 and 3 Stat points for level 120 and up.Stat points can be used to improve your fighting ability.The four Stats in FLyFF are Strength(STR),Stamina(STA),Dexterity(DEX) and Intelligence(INT).STR is the only stat that a vagrant need.you will receive your first Skill at level 3.you can add skill point to the skill and it will make the skill more effective than before.
Players can gain more experience points and better dropped items,if fighting 2 or 3 levels above your own.When you have reached level 15,you will not gain experience any more,unless you return to Flarine to finish your First Job Quests.Once you complete your first job quests,your stat points are reset to 15 and the points will be returned to your point bank so that you can add them again according to your job choice.
