Combat is the process in the land of RuneScape,in which players fight with monsters or other players until one involved is dead or retreats.
Players can gain experience from attacking monsters or other players in either attack, defense,or strength depending on which combat form you choose.No matter which combat form,it requires the application of at least two skills.Players can fight with Melee, Ranged,or Ancient Magicks.The green area on your life bar shows your remaining health,while the red shows how much health you have lost.You need to recover your life points during a fight by eating foods.
There are two kinds of combat area in RuneScape,single area and multicombat area .Player can only fight a single target at any time in single area.Meanwhile,any target can only be attacked by one player at a time.Multicombat areas are very dangerous when more than one mob or player can attack you at a time,you can fighting as a team to reduce the chances of dying as well.
The Combat level of a mob or player determines how easy or difficult you you need to defeat.A monster will not attack a player who is twice its combat level.Besides,players with a combat level higher than yours will not have a left-hand click attack option.The maximum combat level for players is 126 in free world and 138 in member world.If mobs or players with combat level above yours,the color of the level will appear in red,in the contrary,it will be in green.If your combat levels are equal,it will appear in yellow.
