Combat in Dofus is like a turn based strategy game,each player takes it in turns to make a series of moves and attacks within a time limit. For example, when you combat with monsters,you are transported to a 'copy map' where the fighting takes place. Once a fight begins,others can't join that fight.
Each player is given about thirty seconds to complete your turns, if you take longer than that, your movement points and action points are ended and turn to the next player.Turns are indicated by the turn indicator in the lower right hand corner of the screen.and the action point counter is reset at the end of your turn.You can start with three movement points to use on your turn.This may be increased through various items,as well as other effects.
